Bring Your Brother or Sister!
Since we don't want to waste your time dropping your kids off in multiple places before you head out for your afternoon/evening off, we are going to trial our siblings-included sessions! Bring your child with a disability, AND their immediate, adopted, or step-brother or sister to a care session.
Wondering about the benefits? Brothers and sisters get a chance to see and interact with other siblings, other kids with a disability, but they get the opportunity to come and have some fun WITH their siblings! We will offer activities for all children.
These rules apply to siblings with and without disabilities. Please consider this as you schedule:
Your child must be comfortable in a group setting (accepting of sounds, sights, movement, etc. of other individuals). Because our population is especially vulnerable, we do not accept individuals who are aggressive or are an extreme flight risk. We do not have staff to provide "strong-armed" interventions. If this is something that they may require, we are not able to accept them at this time.
