FAQ for Volunteering & Projects

Due to COVID-19, we are suspending in-person volunteering. If you are interested in helping with online fundraising, social media or other "distance" assistance, please let us know!

 

Q. Do you take volunteers?

A. Yes! We provide opportunities for individuals to large groups. If you are interested, please send an email to trudibearocare@gmail.com or find us on JustServe.org

Q. I'm coming to clean as a volunteer. Do I need to bring anything?

A. We provide all cleaning supplies when you come to volunteer, but we love donations if you have them!

Q. How far in advance can we book?

A. Thankfully, our volunteer opportunities book up fast. If you are interested and have a date in mind, let us know.

Q. What size groups do you take?

A. We can accommodate nearly any size of a group-just let us know when you schedule

​

Q. Do you offer Scout/Youth service projects?

A. We do. There are opportunities to build, clean, collect, and more. This includes both locations-Riverton and Bountiful. We have had individual and group-directed projects. One of the greatest projects was a group of youth that accompanied our clients to the Bluffdale Splash pad. It was a great experience for everyone! We encourage creativity!

Due to COVID-19, we are re-opening for current clients only. However, if you are interested in attending at a future time and want to begin the intake process, please let us know.

Q. Do you have a waiting list?

A. This varies-our summer program fills up very fast! 

​

Q. Do you provide transportation?

A. We do not provide transportation at the Bountiful location-yet. We do offer transportation at the Riverton location.

​

Q. How often do you go out in the community?

A. As often as we can. Clients are given the choice to go out or stay at the center on community days. We frequently go to the movies, restaurants, the park, bowling, shopping and more.
